Maritiem Masterplan

MMP.jpg

The Maritime Masterplan was a Dutch growth fund proposal aimed at decarbonizing the shipping sector. The target was to realize 30 zero-emission ships before 2030. The proposal consisted of 3 lines: hydrogen, methanol and LNG+carbon capture. Mana was mainly responsible for writing the hydrogen line in the proposal.

In the summer of 2023, the growth fund was awarded by the Dutch government. This meant an investment of nearly half a billion euros in total was secured to kickstart a zero-emission shipping industry in the Netherlands.
